Notes

• Take the Brunnibahnen cable car to Ristis, and then the two-seater chairlift to Brunnihütte
• There are a couple of alternative via ferratas around Engelberg – we chose the Rigidalstockgrat (which is more suitable for beginners than the -wand)
• If via ferratas are not your thing, there are plenty of hiking trails around the area
