Highlights

• Panoramic hike around 5 alpine lakes, one of which was glacial (Pizolgletscher is sadly as good as gone)
• Part of UNESCO-protected tectonic arena Sardona

Starting point

Parking lot at Wangs cable car station.

Notes

• Plenty of ups and downs, but absolutely worth it
• We skipped the Wangersee, so technically it was a 4-lake hike 🙂
• Dog-friendly

Food and drinks

• Restaurants Pizolhütte and Berg-Panorama just at the top of the last cable car, before starting the hike (Pizolhütte stop)
• Alte Alp Gaffia at the other end
